According to foreign media The DisInsider, “Thor 3” director Taika David Waititi has signed to direct Disney “Tower of Terror”.
“Tower of Terror” is adapted from Disney’s amusement project “The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror”.
In 1997, Kirsten Dunst starred in a TV movie of the same name.
In June of this year, Disney announced that it would launch a new version of “Tower of Terror”.
The film is written by the director of “Toy Story 4”, Josh Cooley, and Scarlett Johansson is the star and producer.
Although Scarlett Johansson and Disney have gone through a two-month legal dispute, the future of this movie is worrying.
However, after the two parties settled, the development of “Tower of Terror” proceeded normally.
Taika David Waititi’s last director work “Jojo Rabbit” won the 2020 Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay and nominated for Best Picture.
He has completed the filming of “Thor 4: Love and Thunder” and will write and direct a “Star Wars” series of movies.
This “acting addiction” director also starred in “FREE GUY” and “The Suicide Squad”.
