“The Walking Dead” spin-off TV Series “Tales of the Walking Dead” premiered stills today, with episodes set to begin airing on August 14.
“Tales of the Walking Dead” will tell stand-alone stories, “focusing on new and old characters from the Walking Dead apocalypse.”
The series stars Olivia Munn, Terry Crews, Poppy Liu, Parker Posey, Embeth Davidtz, Daniella Pineda, Danny Ramirez, Jessie Usher, Anthony Edwards, Samantha Morton and more. Starring Powell Channing Powell, one of the writers of “The Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead,” Powell Powell is running the show, which is an anthology series (each episode is a separate story).
In the released photos, Crews and Munn play Joe and Evie – the pair riding a motorcycle with a sidecar through the zombie apocalypse.
Edwards will return to his career in the ER as a doctor, playing Dr. Everett, now sporting a short doomsday-style beard.
In contrast to stills of the rest of the cast, Jillian Bell as Gina and Parker Posey as Blair are dressed in unusually clean, stylish clothes.
