The new film “TÁR” starring Cate Blanchett is scheduled to be released in North America on October 7, 2022.
“TÁR” is written and directed by Oscar-nominated director Todd Field. The cast also includes Noémie Merlant, Nina Hoss, etc.
“TÁR” protagonist Lydia Tár (Cate Blanchett) is the first female conductor of a large German symphony orchestra.
The story happened a few days before an important symphony was recorded.
Tár’s six-year-old adopted daughter, Petra, is very smart and charming and plays a key role here.

The soundtrack of “TÁR” will be composed by the talented female composer Hildur Guðnadóttir.
She was the first woman to win Oscars, Golden Globes and British Academy Awards for best soundtrack.
“TÁR” will include two official symphony performances, which will be recorded at the performance of the Dresden Symphony Orchestra.
“TÁR” was launched in Germany in September, and the film will meet the audience on October 7, 2022.
