The American drama version of “Alien” will start shooting next spring and will be broadcast on FX TV.
Recently, Noah Hawley, the producer of the American TV series “Fargo”, revealed in an interview with foreign media that the American TV series “Alien” will start filming next spring, and he has finished writing two episodes of the script.
Noah Hawley did not reveal much about the plot, but only emphasized two points: American TV series will not have Ripley played by Sigourney Weaver, and the story is not limited to taking place in confined spaces such as prisons and spaceships.
FX announced the project at the end of last year, and the 1979 version of director Ridley Scott will also serve as producer.
Hawley said that in the past “Alien” movies were mostly stories that focused on confined spaces, and he wanted to see how this kind of top hunter lost control.
Hawley seems to have a key understanding of the themes and metaphors behind the “Alien” world. He mentioned the influence of directors such as Ridley Scott, James Cameron and David Fincher on the series.
Noah Hawley also said that special effects companies are currently busy completing the backlog of film works due to the epidemic.
In order to make the special effects of this show more refined, the preparation period for the American version of “Alien” will be longer, and it is hoped that filming will start in the spring of 2022.
