“The Hunger Games” prequel film “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” has announced the casting of Tom Blyth (“Billy the Kid” “Benediction”) as a younger version of Snow.
“The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” is based on the new book of the same name by original author Suzanne Collins and is set a few years before Coriolanus Snow became the tyrant president of Shi Huiguo.
At 18, Snow is handsome and charming, and despite his difficult family circumstances, he sees an opportunity to change his fortunes: He has been chosen to be a mentor for the tenth Hunger Games.

But his joy was shattered when he was sent to mentor a girl from the impoverished 12th district.
“The Hunger Games” series director Francis Lawrence returns to direct the prequel, with Michael Arndt (“Inside Out””Toy Story 3””Little Miss Sunshine”) writing the script. The review will be released in Northern America on November 17 next year.
