“The Batman” director Matt Reeves was recently interviewed by IGN, in which he said that in order to keep the content of the plot secret, they deliberately shot some fake shots to prevent key plot information from being leaked.
The worst rumor should be that actor Barry Keoghan will play GCPD police officer Stanley Merkel in “The Batman”, and the leaked stills further confirmed this statement.
But after the film was officially released, audiences discovered that he actually played a villain clown.
Regarding the previously leaked stills, Matt Reeves explained that those stills were specially fabricated to prevent the character’s intelligence from being leaked.

He expressed his hope that the films he made would be different and present some unique content to the audience. When the audience walks into the cinema, there are more surprises to see.
Reeves said that their biggest concern when shooting the movie was that the audience would guess the role of an actor, so they made such a fake identity.
The GCPD officers are a huge part of the plot, so it makes sense to do so.
“The Batman” is in theaters, and the film’s current reputation is very good, and we can also see what the new version of the Joker looks like in the film.
