“The Batman” starring Robert Pattinson, Warners DC’s annual hit, premiered in London today.
On the red carpet, director Matt Reeves told the media that the “Batverse” will be constructed around the film, not only will The Penguin episode be filmed on HBO Max, but discussions have begun on a sequel to the film.
“The Batman” opens in North America on March 4.
Directed by Matt Reeves, the film stars Robert Pattinson as Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Sheriff Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Butler Alfred.

Interestingly, Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck played the two Batmans in “The Flash” this November.
That said, there will be 3 different Batmans on the big screen this year.
In Warner’s plan, Robert Pattinson’s version of Batman will have its own “miniverse”, and “The Penguin” episodes are closely related to “The Batman”.

The Batman in the movie “The Flash” is still part of the DCEU, and the 72-year-old Michael Keaton will even appear in “Batgirl”. His Batman seems to be more important.
