Netflix’s film “Enola Holmes 2” is progressing smoothly. The filming started in September and ended in a few days.
And this also means that this sequel will soon enter the post-production process.
“Enola Holmes” was launched in 2020. It is adapted from Nancy Springer’s “The Enola Holmes Mysteries” series of novels. There are 6 original novels in total.
The film tells about Enola’s mother who suddenly disappeared on her 16th birthday. She asked her brothers for help but found that they were more concerned about sending her to a boarding school to settle down than to solve the mystery.
So Enola fled to London to start her detective career, and she was always one step ahead of her brothers.
Millie Bobby Brown, the actor who played the leading role in the original work, will return to the crew and continue to play Miss Holmes.
And Henry Cavill will play Holmes himself.
The film is a hit on Netflix. About 76 million households watched the film in the first 28 days of its launch.
The sequel “Enola Holmes 2” is expected to become a hit again. Currently, the film has not yet been finalized.
However, some media said that “Enola Holmes 2” may land on Netflix’s streaming media platform in the second half of 2022.
