According to media reports, Ethan Hawke will direct a documentary series about the life and love of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward couple “The Last Movie Stars”.
“The Last Movie Stars” will be divided into six chapters about the star couple’s 50-year love story.
The project was initiated by the daughter of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, who personally approached Hawke during the pandemic, hoping that the latter would direct the documentary series.
Martin Scorsese will serve as executive producer, and George Clooney, Oscar Isaac, Laura Linney, Zoe Kazan, Sam Rockwell and more will appear to read historical interviews.
