‘The Lord of the Rings’ episode ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ released a number of new stills, Galadriel and other elves, Isildur, Eärendil, Míriel, Ar-Pharazôn and other Numenoreans appear.
The Lord of the Rings’ drama version of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ released new stills, the forces of Middle-earth debut, Season 1 will start on September 2, a total of eight episodes.
Juan Antonio Bayona (‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’) directed the first two episodes, with Wayne Yip directing some episodes and co-executive producing. Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Joseph Mawle and others star.
Isildur: (the founder of Arnor, a human exile in Middle Earth, cut off the One Ring from Sauron’s finger and took it for himself during the Battle of Mount Doom at the end of the Second Age, died in the second year of the Third Age in the ‘Disaster of the Gladden Fields’)
Galadriel and Eärendil: (Eärendil: leader of the Númenor loyalists; after the sinking of the continent of Númenor, his two sons Isildur and Anarion founded the exiled kingdoms Arnor and Gondor, respectively, and he served as the common king of the two kingdoms.)
Galadriel: (granddaughter of High King of the Noldor Finwë, one of the most powerful elves of the Third Age of Middle Earth)
Queen Regent: Tar-Míriel (only daughter of former King Tar-Palantir, the original heir to the throne of Númenor)
Last Emperor of Númenor: Ar-Pharazôn (usurper, forcibly married Tar-Míriel and usurped her throne)
