‘The Lord of the Rings’ drama version ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ released a new trailer, the forces of Middle-earth debut, Season 1 will start on September 2, a total of eight episodes.
Juan Antonio Bayona (‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’) directed the first two episodes, with Wayne Yip directing some episodes and co-executive producing. Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Tom Bacchi, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Joseph Mawle and others star.
Set thousands of years before the story of ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’, the show tells the heroic saga of the second age of Middle-earth.
It is reported that Season 1 will cost $465 million, making it one of the most expensive series of all time, and is scheduled for five seasons.
