‘The Lord of the Rings’ to have new film

More ‘The Lord of the Rings’ movies are coming.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced that Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. has once again acquired the film remake rights to Tolkien’s ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit,’ with a deal that includes several new films based on the novel series. The deal includes several new movies based on the series, to be developed by Warner’s label New Line Cinema.

Previously Warner + New Line cinema released the Middle-earth IP masterpiece ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy movie and ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy movie, and this time they are signed by the Swedish game company Embracer Group AB.

This company took the ‘The Lord of the Rings’ IP from Saul Zaentz Group last year for a variety of development rights, including movies, games, peripherals, theme parks, live shows and more.
