Since the original team has returned, the story must be the successor to the last “The Matrix Revolutions”.
So these people must have an opportunity for collective resurrection.
A bold guess may be that even the real world in “The Matrix” is fake, and it is also a piece of code, and as long as it is code, it may be resurrected, which explains the possibility of Trinity’s resurrection.
The second possibility is that “The Matrix” trilogy is a lie. Neo did not save the world at all, but experienced a bad memory in the world created by the machine.
