The famous game ‘BioShock’ movie version has new progress, the latest set Francis Lawrence (‘The Hunger Games’ ‘I Am Legend’) director, Michael Green (‘Logan’ ‘Blade Runner 2049’) screenwriter.
BioShock’ is produced by Netflix and created in collaboration with game maker Take-Two Interactive, with plans to make it into a cinematic universe.
This first-person shooter series focuses on an anti-Utopia world – the shattered underwater city of Rapture, where the main character Jack arrives after a plane crash and embarks on a series of adventures with action, sci-fi and horror elements.
Previous attempts by Universal to make a film version were unsuccessful due to disagreements with the two directors over issues such as budget and rating (whether to make an R-rating).
