“The Northman” directed by Robert Eggers, who has filmed “The Witch”, “The Lighthouse” and other films, has exposed new stills.
In the stills, the male protagonist played by Alexander Skarsgård, holding an axe, is naked, and growling loudly into the distance, as if a bloody battle is ahead.
The story of “The Northman” focuses on a “Battle of Vengeance” by the Vikings in 10th century Iceland.

The film describes the Nordic prince, played by Alexander Skarsgård, on a journey of revenge for his murdered father.
Interestingly, “The Northman” was initiated by Alexander Skarsgård to Robert Eggers to explain the story idea, and then the project was successfully approved.
The screenplay was written by Robert Eggers with Icelandic poet and novelist Sjón.
Actors, Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Ethan Hawke and Anya Taylor-Joy and so on.
It can be seen that most of the leading actors and director Eggers have cooperated before.
As planned, “The Northman” will hit the big screen on April 22 this year.
