The English series of “The Three-Body Problem” produced by Netflix has finalized the first batch of 12 cast members: Benedict Wong, Eiza González, Tsai Chin, Jovan Adepo, John C. Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Saamer Usmani, Jess Hong, Sea Shimooka, Zine Tseng.
“The Three-Body Problem” is adapted from Cixin Liu’s science fiction novel of the same name.
The film is co-produced by the director/writer/producer partners of “Game of Thrones” David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo (“True Blood”).
Cixin Liu and the English translator of the original novel Ken Liu acted as production consultants, and Derek Tsang directed the first episode.
