Netflix’s new version of ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ is set to be released in theaters in Germany and some other markets around the world on September 29, streaming on October 28, and previously at the Toronto International Film Festival for a world premiere.

The story follows teenagers Paul Baumer and his friends Albert and Muller, who voluntarily enlist in the German army, riding a wave of patriotic fervour that quickly dissipates once they face the brutal realities of life on the front.
