The new “Resident Evil” series “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” will be released in North America on November 24.
“Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” will adapt the plots of “Resident Evil” and “Resident Evil 2”.
According to official disclosures, “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” will stay true to the original horror and thriller style of the game, telling the story of Raccoon City being besieged by zombies.
“Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” director Johannes Roberts was interviewed by the media recently.
In the interview, he said that in the past few years, how to understand and produce computer games adapted for film and television has changed, and the audience has also seen these changes.
Everyone will have an idea that gamers don’t like to go to the theater to watch movies, so they need to attract other audiences.
The concept of “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” is a horrible independent film that should attract a wide audience.
But we also take this movie based on the game IP very seriously.
Johannes Roberts: “I personally like “Resident Evil 4” very much. It is likely to be part of the next “Resident Evil” movie. We have added a lot of interesting knowledge and subtleties to the “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” movie. The details, it would be great if we can continue to expand. There are some characters that we did not use in this movie, but we want to make these characters appear in the next movie. The “Resident Evil” series also has a different side, such as “Resident Evil” “7/8″ shows a darker and scarier world.”
“If you can continue to unfold this aspect of the story, I think it will be great. We have really created some iconic characters, Chris, Claire, Wesker and Leon. Hope this is the beginning of a new chapter.”
