“If I never see you again, good morning, good afternoon and good night.” This year’s Cannes Film Festival will be held on May 17-28.
“The Truman Show” is a 1998 film by Paramount Pictures. Directed by Peter Weir and starring Jim Carrey, Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich, Ed Harris and more.
The film was released in the United States on June 1, 1998.
The film tells that Truman is the protagonist of a hit soap opera, everything around him is false, his family and friends are all actors, but he himself knows nothing about it.
In the end Truman stepped out of this virtual world at all costs.
In 1999, the film was nominated for the Best Original Screenplay Award at the 71st Academy Awards; Jim Carrey won the Best Actor Award at the 56th Golden Globe Awards for this film.
