HBO MAX has officially announced that it has officially booked the spin-off “The Penguin” of “The Batman” starring Colin Farrell, which will focus on the villain The Penguin played by Farrell.
The series, which has been running since last year, will follow the rise of “The Penguin” Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot in the Gotham City underworld.
“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” writer Lauren LeFranc is serving as “The Penguin” writer, and Farrell is executive producing along with “The Batman” director Matt Reeves and producer Dylan Clark.
