Years later, the reboot of the cult classic “The Crow” has a new twist: Bill Skarsgård will star, Rupert Sanders (“Ghost in the Shell” “Snow White and the Huntsman”) direct, Zach Baylin (“King Richard”), the film will start shooting in Prague and Munich in June.
This project has been in development for more than ten years and has undergone many changes. Previously starring and directed by Jason Momoa and Corin Hardy, it was once slated for a 2019 release, but never got off the ground due to creative disagreements and funding issues.
The 1994 original starring Bruce Lee’s son, Brandon Lee, was based on a comic by James O’Barr.
It tells the story of a rocker and his fiancée whose car breaks down on the road, the two are assaulted and killed by a gang of thugs, and then the man is resurrected by a crow to take revenge on the perpetrator.

The film performed well at the box office, and gained many praise and followers for its gothic, rock, anti-hero and other characteristics. In 1993, 28-year-old Brandon Lee died unexpectedly on the set of the film, and the mapping of the film is embarrassing.
“The Crow” launched three film sequels in 1996, 2000, and 2005, as well as related TV series.
