The relaunched version of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” reveals stills, Nightmare Leatherface returns again

The restart version of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” has been settled on Netflix at the end of August this year. A few days ago, Netflix announced the first stills of the film.

In the stills, the title character of the film, the nightmare-like Leatherface, returns again.

He was standing in a cramped alley with his back to the audience, and the chain saw in his hand was frightening.

The restarted version of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” will directly take over the original film in the story, the return of the iconic character Leatherface.

“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” will reintroduce one of the most iconic villains in horror movies to a new generation of audiences.

The film’s storyline takes place in the contemporary era. A pair of sisters from San Francisco travelled to Texas on a business trip and then met the Sawyer family.

The original “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” was filmed in 1974 and is the masterpiece of the unknown Tobe Hooper at the time.

“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” has become a classic with realism and outstanding visual expression.

That year, the film won a local box office of 30 million U.S. dollars at a cost of less than 300,000 US dollars.

“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” thus became the most successful American independent film in the 1970s.

Subsequently, the corner of Leatherface in the film quickly became a cultural symbol, occupying the streets and alleys.

In order to reproduce the successful model of the film, Tobe Hooper also directed the sequel of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” in 1986, and added a lot of comedy elements.
