Steal your head? The studio of Netflix’s French-language series “Lupin” based on the well-known “Phantom Thief” story has been stolen.
Agence France-Presse reports: Equipment worth 300,000 euros was stolen last week in the neighbourhood of Nanterre, near Paris, where the third season of “Lupin” was filmed.
The specific situation was described as “20 masked people broke into the set with fireworks,” and the local police have been involved in the investigation.
Filming of “Lupin” was temporarily suspended and resumed on Monday.
A Netflix spokesperson confirmed to “Variety” and other media that the incident occurred, saying that the incident occurred on February 25, and the crew was safe and no one was injured.
Coincidentally, a week before the incident, the UK set of season 5 of Netflix’s other hit drama “The Crown” was also stolen, with £150,000 worth of antiques stolen.
