‘The Walking Dead’ announces a new spin-off at 2022 San Diego International Comic-Con: Rick+Michonne, and actors Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira make surprise appearances at ‘The Walking Dead’s’ SDCC Meet and Greet session.

Originally AMC’s idea was to release a movie with Rick as the main character to wrap up his story line, now it is confirmed to become this drama to serve as the conclusion of the story of the two.

AMC said the show will “start with six episodes,” which means it may continue if it works well.
