“The Winchesters” pilot episode of “Supernatural” prequel finds Young Mary and John.
Meg Donnelly (“American Housewife”) will play 19-year-old ghost hunter Mary Campbell, and Drake Rodger will play John Winchester, a first-time hunter, and the two will form a team.
The CW has pre-ordered a pilot episode of the show, “The Winchesters”, which focuses on Mary and John, parents of “Supernatural” protagonists Winchester brothers Dean and Sam.
“The Winchesters” is described as “an epic, untold love story from Dean’s point of view, how John met Mary and how they were desperate to save their love and the world”.
Dean’s actor Jensen Ackles will serve as the narrator, and he and his wife Danneel also serve as executive producers.
The script was written by “Supernatural” executive producer Robbie Thompson.
