“The Woman King” released stills, it focuses on the prototype of “Black Panther” Wakanda Royal Guard

Historically, the Dahomey female warrior was real and was the prototype for the female royal guard in Black Panther.

Dahomey is the old name of Benin. It has been a transit station for slaves since the sixteenth century. It has been called “Slave coast” by the West for three hundred years.

Dahomey was actively involved in the slave trade until the end of the nineteenth century.

The slave trade ended in 1885 when the last Portuguese merchant ship laden with slaves left Viaduct Harbour.

The history of the Kingdom of Dahomey dates back to the beginning of the seventeenth century, when a force from the region of Greater Adela went north to create the Kingdom of Dahomey.

The Dahomey female warrior was established by the fifth king of the kingdom. It was originally a female bodyguard-type force.

Later, the king developed this armed force into a female militia unit, which is a first-line female soldier unit in actual combat.

In 1727 they successfully conquered the Kingdom of Viaduct, the largest slave trade center in the world at the time.

In 1729, he officially changed the female army to the female legion.
