Thor: Love and Thunder’s Northern America debut week was on par with industry expectations and was the highest Northern America opening for the Thor franchise and the third highest opening in Northern America during the epidemic (behind Spider-Man: No Way Home’ of $260 million and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ of $187.4 million).
Meanwhile, the CinemaScoreNorthern America audience rating for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ came out at B+, down from A for the third film.
Production costs for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ have not been officially reported, with some media reports claiming up to $250 million.
