“Spider-Man: No Way Home” has just been released, and the box office is currently booming. The global box office has reached 876 million U.S. dollars, ranking runner-up in the 2021 global box office.
In an interview a few days ago, the film’s starring Tom Holland responded to Martin Scorsese’s previous remarks that “Marvel is not a Cinema, it is a “theme park””.
Tom Holland said that he has made both Marvel movies and Oscar-winning movies, but the two are just different in scale.
“The way I understand the characters, the way the director creates the story and the characters are the same.”
Tom Holland also said that Martin Scorsese didn’t know what Marvel movies were like, “because he never made Marvel movies.”
