TV series “Interview with the Vampire” double male lead revealed

The AMC drama version “Interview with the Vampire Season 1” “Dual Male Lead” candidates are officially announced.

Jacob Anderson, the black actor who played “Grey Worm” in “Game of Thrones”, will play Louis, the role of Brad Pitt in the movie.

Australian actor Sam Reid (’71’) will play Lestat, the role of Tom Cruise in the movie.

It is worth mentioning that in the film version of “Interview With The Vampire”, Louis, played by Pitt, is a manor.

Nowadays, the drama version chooses black actors to play the role, and how to adapt it has naturally become the focus of attention.

In May last year, AMC bought all 18 novels in Anne Rice’s “Vampire Chronicles” and “Mayfair Witches” series at one go, and announced that it would gradually complete the film and television.

AMC plans to develop an 8-episode short play, with Mark Steven Johnson, the producer of “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” as the supervisor, and the overall project development.

Rolin Jones (“Boardwalk Empire”) will write the script, Alan Taylor (“Game of Thrones”) will direct the first two episodes, and Anne Rice and son Christopher Rice will also serve as producers.

The series is planned to be launched simultaneously on TV and streaming media platforms next year.

The film “Interview With The Vampire” was directed by Neil Jordan, starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Kirsten Dunst. It was released in the United States on November 11, 1994.

The film is adapted from the novel of the same name. It tells the story of the estate owner Louis, who was desperate to live after losing his wife and daughter, and met the vampire Lestat.
