Universal’s new monster movie “Renfield” starring Nicholas Hoult, Nicolas Cage, and Awkwafina released set photos.
Dracula, the vampire played by Cage, and Renfield, played by Hoult, are exposed (Cage returns to the big-budget movie).

“Renfield” has been scheduled to be released in North America on April 14 next year. It is directed by Chris McKay (“The Tomorrow War” “The Lego Movie” “The Lego Batman Movie”), with ideas from Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ridley (“Rick and Morty “) as the screenwriter, and the background will be set in modern times.
In Bram Stoker’s original Dracula novel, Renfield is an inmate in a mental hospital who is thought to be paranoid, but is actually Dracula’s servant.
