Directed by Chan-wook Park and starring Wei Tang, Hae-il Park, Jung-hyun Lee, Kyung-pyo Go, Yong-woo Park, the movie “Decision To Leave” revealed new stills and story outline, and confirmed the length of the film to be 138 minute.
“Decision To Leave” tells the story of a detective, Hae-jun (Hae-il Park), who takes over a mountaineering blunder and encounters Seo-rae (Wei Tang), the wife of the cliff faller, during the investigation.
Contrary to the reactions of relatives around him, Seo-rae was calm about her husband’s death, so she was listed as the main suspect by the police.

During the interrogation and surveillance of Seo-rae, detective Hae-jun gradually realizes that he is interested in her.
The film has been shortlisted for the main competition unit of the 75th Cannes Film Festival. It will be released in South Korea on June 29, and will be released in the United Kingdom and the United States this fall. It will then be exclusively launched on the Mubi streaming media platform.
