Recently, the first trailer of “The Matrix Resurrections” was unveiled at CinemaCon, and the subtitle was confirmed.
Unlike the trilogy Lana Wachowski and Lilly Wachowski co-directed, “The Matrix Resurrections” is directed by sister Lana alone.
Why is this happening?
Recently, Lilly gave the answer when promoting his new work “Work in Progress”.
Lilly Wachowski said that after the completion of “The Matrix Resurrections”, she and her sister Lana have not contacted yet.
He said: “Going back in time and doing what I have done again is obviously unattractive. I don’t want to experience my gender transition again, the death of my parents. It’s like I want to go back and put on my old shoes again. It’s the same inside, I don’t want to do that.”
