Will Arnett joins the action comedy series “Twisted Metal” as the voice of the villain Sweet Tooth. Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Neve Campbell, Thomas Haden Church and more.
“Twisted Metal” is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and Mackie plays Anonymous, a milkman with no memory of the past, articulate and fast.
At one point he got a chance to live a better life—delivering a mysterious package into the wasteland of a post-apocalyptic world.
Along the way, he develops a hostile relationship with Quiet (Beatriz), a fierce and bellicose car thief, and the two face various threats along the way: a savage predator and a deranged clown (Anett) who drives an ice cream truck.
Produced by Sony Television and PlayStation Production, the show was picked up by streaming platform Peacock and pre-ordered for an entire season.
The series is inspired by “Deadpool” and “Zombieland” writing duo Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick, with Michael Jonathan Smith (“Cobra Kai”) as writer and executive producer, Mackie also executive producing, Kitao Sakurai (“Bad Trip” “Aardvark” ) directed data sets.
