HBO’s NBA basketball-themed drama series “Winning Time: The Rise Of The Lakers Dynasty” focusing on Los Angeles Lakers released a poster, unveiling a proud and hidden history of Los Angeles Lakers, and it goes live on March 6.
The show goes behind the scenes of the Lakers’ famous “Showtime” period, the 1980s Lakers led by Magic Johnson and Skyhook Jabbar and coached by the god operator Riley.
John C. Reilly as former Lakers boss Sr. Buss, Quincy Isaiah as Magic Johnson, Solomon Hughes as Skyhook Jabbar, Sally Field as Jessie Buss, Adrien Brody as Lakers coach Pat Riley at the time, and Jason Clarke as legend Jerry West.
“Don’t Look Up” and “The Big Short” director Adam McKay directed the first episode, with Max Borenstein (“Arctic Ghost”) serving as executive producer.
