Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford star in the ‘Yellowstone’ prequel series announced a title change.It was originally set to be ‘1932’ and is now ‘1923’, with a timeline covering the end of World War I (1918) and the start of Prohibition (1920).
The show is still being created by Taylor Sheridan and is scheduled to go live on Paramount+ this December.
The episode will introduce a new generation of Dutton family members and explore the early 20th century epidemic, historic drought, Prohibition, lawlessness and economic depression plaguing the Mountain West, with Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford set to star in yet-to-be-revealed roles.
‘Yellowstone’, starring Kevin Costner, has four seasons so far in 2018 and focuses on the Dutton family, who control the largest ranch in the United States. Previously it has released a prequel ‘1883’ and another spin-off series ‘6666’ which is still in development.
