Unlike the comics, the movie version of Black Adam is defined as an ancient Egyptian slave, not a prince. After gaining superpowers and becoming a god, Black Adam decided to use his powers to influence the world.

The film is directed by “Non-Stop” director Jaume Collet-Serra, in addition to Johnson, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.
“Black Adam” will be released in Northern America on October 21, 2022.
