The 26th American French Film Festival will be held in Los Angeles from October 10th to 16th. Jean-Jacques Annaud’s new film “Notre-Dame brûle” will be screened as the opening film and the closing film will be ‘La nuit du 12’.
A total of 75 films/series and 20 short films were screened at the festival this year.
A fire broke out at Notre Dame de Paris on April 15, 2019 at around 18:50 local time in France, with the fire located in the attic of the church.
The fire caused the collapse of its spire and the complete destruction of the wooden roof at the center and rear, while most of its stone vaulting was preserved.
Hundreds of firefighters fought through the night until dawn the next day, when the fire was extinguished and the entire structure of the building was saved.
‘L’amant’ ‘Enemy at the Gates’ director Jean-Jacques Annaud’s film focuses on the 24 hours of the fire. Most of the cast was shot at other churches, and only 5% of the footage was from TV news, private shooting real image.
