Dakota Johnson, Cosmo Jarvis and Henry Golding star in the film adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel ‘Persuasion’ for the first time to reveal the trailer and poster, July 15 online Netflix.
‘Persuasion’ co-stars Suki Waterhouse, Richard E. Grant and others, with Carrie Cracknell (stage production of ‘The Deep Blue Sea’) making her feature film directorial debut and Ronald Bass ( ‘Rain Man’ ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’), and Alice Victoria Winslow wrote the screenplay.
The film follows Anne Elliot (Johnson), a woman with newfangled emotions who doesn’t conform to convention, as she lives with her snobbish family on the verge of bankruptcy.
When Frederick Wentworth (J.A.R.V.I.S.), the charming and stylish man Anne once sent away, reappears in her life.
She had to make a choice: leave the past behind or have a second chance to listen to her heart.
