A24’s stop-motion comedy animation “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On” has been released and will be released in North America on June 24.
The film is directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp, with the voices of Jenny Slate, Isabella Rossellini, Thomas Mann, Rosa Salazar, etc., adapted from the director’s short film of the same name.
Marcel was a cute little seashell who lived with her grandmother until a man moved in and found them.
The film focuses on social, family and other topics through Shell Marcel’s family search journey.
