The trailer for ‘Aline’, a biopic focusing on the world-renowned songstress Céline Dion, was recently released. The film chronicles Céline Dion from her birth and upbringing in Quebec in the 1960s, to her rise to fame in her teens, to her relationship with her manager, husband Rene Angelil and family.
In addition, the film also recreates many famous scenes from her singing career, including winning the European Song Contest in 1988, getting married in a million-dollar crystal wedding dress in 1994, and singing the popular ‘Titanic’ theme song “My Heart Will Go On” at the Oscars in 1998.
The film is directed by Valérie Lemercier, an actress & director from France who has directed five films including ‘Le petit Nicolas’ ‘Milou en mai’.
Aline’ will take the audience backstage and into the recording studio, revealing to the public the blood and tears behind the legend of this singing diva.
