The Broadway musical “Come from Away” has released its pilot trailer, which will be launched on Apple TV+ on September 10 this year.
Christopher Ashley, the director of the musical version, returned to direct, and the original cast continued to star, and was recorded in the theater in May.
The musical has been nominated for 7 Tony Awards and eventually won the best musical director.
The story tells that after the 9/11 incident, 38 planes accidentally landed in the small town of Gander in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and 7,000 passengers were stranded.
Under the circumstances of forced grounding, the residents of the small town warmly welcomed and accepted all passengers. Their generosity and kindness formed a sharp contrast with the terrorist attack.
Cultures collide with each other, people’s emotions are high, anxiety turns into trust, music reverberates through the night, and gratitude finally forms a long-lasting friendship.
Will be launched on Apple TV+ on September 10 this year.
