The Grimace Killer Horror is back! The first trailer for the horror film “Scream 5” was released.
The film is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the two directors of Ready or Not.
The former starring Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox (“Monica” in “Friends”) collectively returns.
Dylan Minnette, Jack Quaid, Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding, etc. joined.
In the 1996 original “Scream”, Neve Campbell played the heroine Sidney Prescott, who became the target of a killer wearing a grimace mask.

This grimace was inspired by Edvard Munch’s painting “The Scream”, which later became one of everyone’s favorite costumes for Halloween.
The four films in this series were released in 1996, 1997, 2000 and 2011.
The “Scream” series is directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Meade Williamson. It has won a total of US$608 million in box office worldwide.
“Scream 5” will be released in North America on January 14, 2022.
