Western thriller ‘Dead for A Dollar‎’ revealed official trailer, In theaters September 30th in Northern America

The official trailer for the Western thriller ‘Dead for A Dollar‎’ has been released. The film stars Christoph Waltz, Willem Dafoe, Rachel Brosnahan, Brandon Scott, Benjamin Bratt and is directed and written by legendary filmmaker Walter Hill (‘Crossroads’ ‘The Warriors’ ’48 Hrs.’ director & multiple ‘Alien’ writers) directed and wrote the screenplay.

Set in 1897 in New Mexico and Chihuahua, Mexico, ‘Dead for A Dollar’ follows Max Borlund (Christoph Waltz), a famous bounty hunter who is hired to find and bring back the politically radical wife of Santa Fe businessman Nathan Price. Rachel Price (Rachel Brosnahan).

Max is told that Rachel has been kidnapped by a black deserter named Elijah Jones and is being held hostage in Mexico.

As Max heads south across the U.S.-Mexico border, he meets his nemesis, Joe Cribbens (Willem Dafoe), an American expatriate, professional gambler, and outlaw, who Max had captured and sent to prison several years earlier.

Since then, Max has gone deep into the Mexican desert in search of Rachel and Elijah, only to find that the former had voluntarily fled her abusive husband, while the latter was in love with her.

Max is now in a dilemma: should he take Rachel back to the U.S. and return her to her employer in accordance with the contract, or should he help Rachel get free and have to deal with the mercenaries and his long-time enemies who are coming after him?

‘Dead for A Dollar’ will be released in Northern America on September 30.
